NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 2017: Start time, lineup, TV schedule, more

USA TODAY Sports

It's race day at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and we’ve got all the information you need to get ready for today’s Coca-Cola 600 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race:

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Clint Bowyer (14) leads in an early segment during the Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

START TIME: Actor Channing Tatum will instruct drivers to start their engines at 6:10 p.m. ET, followed by the green flag at 6:18 p.m. ET.

RACE DISTANCE: The Coca-Cola 400 is 600 miles and 400 laps around the 1.5-mile oval, making it NASCAR's longest race.

SEGMENTS: Beginning this season, NASCAR is dividing every race into segments and awarding one bonus point to the winner of each stage. Segment lengths will be different for every race, but the series announced earlier this month that the Coca-Cola 600 will have four segments instead of three. Also, the top 10 finishers of the first segments will be awarded regular-season points in descending order from 10 to 1. Here are the segments for the Coca-Cola 600: Stage 1: 100 laps; Stage 2: 100 laps; Stage 3: 100 laps, Stage 4: 100 laps.

NATIONAL ANTHEM/FLYOVER: The 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus will perform the national anthem at 6:03 p.m., with the flyover by four F-15's from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: Fox will broadcast the race on TV and has a pre-race show beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET. Performance Radio Network and Sirius/XM Radio will call the race on the radio.

LIVE STREAMING: Fox is offering a live stream through its Fox Sports Go app.

WEATHER: The National Weather Service is calling for a 40-percent chance of thunderstorms and a high of 86 degrees.

LAST TIME: It was record-breaking domination last year as Martin Truex led 392 of the race’s 400 laps en route to victory. He starts eighth on Sunday.

STARTING LINEUP: Kevin Harvick will start on the pole alongside Kyle Busch, who won the Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race last weekend on this same track.
