Quiz time: Do you know who holds these Indy 500 records?

A.J. Foyt (from left), Al Unser and Rick Mears have won the Indianapolis 500 four times.

Killing time before the 101st Indianapolis 500? Impress and/or stump your friends with these 10 (or so) race records.

Race earnings: Helio Castroneves has earned $11,881,205, the only driiver to win more than $10 million in his career. He's also the only driver to earn more than $3 million in a single race ($3,048,005 in 2009).

Laps led: Al Unser has led 644 laps in the race. Among active drivers, Scott Dixon has the most with 434, 10th all-time.

Most race wins: Probably the most famous of all the Indy 500 records, A.J. Foyt (1961, '64, '67, '77), Al Unser (1970, '71, '78, '87 and Rick Mears (1979, '84, '88, '91) have taken the checkered flag four times. Helio Castroneves is trying to make it an Indy Mount Rushmore, having won the race in 2001, '02 and '09.

QUALIFYING LINEUP: Row-by-row starters

Most starts: A.J. Foyt started 35 straight races from 1958-92. It's unlikely anyone will match him. Buddy Lazier, the 1996 race winner, is making his 20th start.

Oldest starter: Of course it's Foyt, who was 57 years, 128  days old when he took the green flag in 1992.

Youngest starter: Let's keep it in the family. A.J. Foyt IV, A.J.'s grandson, raced on his 19th birthday in 2003.

AT THE TRACK: Race day schedule

Where winners started: The pole position is the place to be. Twenty race winners also started first, but that hasn't happened since Helio Castroneves in 2009. (On the other side, two drivers won from 28th: Ray Harroun in 1911 and Louis Meyer in 1936).

Closest finish: It's the 25th anniversary of Al Unser Jr. edging Scott Goodyear by .043 seconds in 1992.

Most lead changes: There were 68 lead changes in 2013, by far the most.

Fastest race: Tony Kanaan won the 2013 race at 187.433 mph.
