Karley Vega pitched five solid innings to help the West Allis Central softball team top St. Thomas More, 7-5, on April 7.

The junior allowed just four hits and struck out four for the Bulldogs, who posted their second triumph of the season and improved to 2-2.

Freshman Joette Kassa went 3-for-4 with a double and triple and drove in three runs and sophomore Makayla Molleson went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.

The Bulldogs pulled out the game with three runs in the sixth inning.

Central had lost to Divine Savior Holy Angels, 22-0, the previous night in Greater Metro Conference play.

The Bulldogs take on Brown Deer at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Dorrow Field.
