Nikita Conroy tallied 16 points, including a trio of 3-point field goals, but she was only one of three West Allis Central players to score in a 78-21 loss to Slinger on Nov. 18.
The Bulldogs fell behind, 49-13, at the half and then managed only eight points in the second half to drop their season opener.
Conroy, a 5-foot-7-inch senior guard, is expected to be one of the leaders for Central this season.
The Bulldogs met Shorewood on Nov. 22 and will take on Milwaukee Ronald Reagan at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Central Fieldhouse.
Central then meets rival West Allis Hale at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at home to open the Greater Metro Conference slate.
