Greenfield golfers earn team academic honor

The Greenfield boys golf team received honorable-mention recognition for team academic all-state by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin for the 2016 season.

This means that the five Greenfield golfers who played in the WIAA regional tournament compiled a grade-point average of at least 3.25. They are Aaron Rick, Tyler Whitt, Sam Mendoza, Kyle Jablonski and Zechariah Broyles.

The teams with the top three GPA's in each division earned medals, and all other schools were given a certificate for honorable mention.

Whitt and Jablonski had earlier earned individual academic honors from the GCAW.
