Deshaun Watson wants to be better than Tom Brady

Deshaun Watson let everyone know that he has big goals set for his football career on the NFL Network on Tuesday.

The Clemson quarterback was asked what everyone can "look forward to" once he's in the NFL. The 21-year-old replied:

"If I'm blessed to stay healthy and play for a while, I'm chasing the GOAT. I'm chasing Tom (Brady). I'm going six. That's the big thing. I know it's gonna be tough, it's gonna be hard, and I gotta have the right situation, have some luck along the way, but that's what I'm chasing."

Watson not only wants to be as good as five-time champ Tom Brady, he wants to be better than him. Watson also said that if a team decides to draft North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky before him, that team will just "have to live with the consequences."

Last month, For The Win's Steven Ruiz predicted that Watson will be the first quarterback drafted at No. 10 by the Bills.

Going back to that Brady comparison, just last week, Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer said he sees Brady in his own game too. Kizer told USA TODAY Sports:

"No one else can do what I can do. And I've truly figured out in this (draft) process, if I can maximize all my potential in every aspect of the game - this is bold - I do have the ability to be the greatest quarterback to ever play. Imagine taking (Tom) Brady's intellect and Brady's preparation and putting it on a guy with Cam Newton's body. Why can't I be the greatest? The only thing stopping me from it is me. That's what's driving me now."

The NFL draft starts on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and NFL Network.
