Last batch of NES Classics sold out in seconds

I may regret telling you all this, but I love you, For The Win readers, and for as much dread at the current competition we're about to embark on together, I know in my heart I want to see you all succeed.

The most eagerly-anticipated gift this holiday for gamers is probably the Nintendo NES Classic, a miniature version of the classic gaming console that's selling for just $60. It features a bunch of pre-programmed games - everything from PacMan to Donkey Kong - and the initial launch was so popular that stores actually ran out of them. Now they're re-selling online for more than four times the price

Frustrating though it is, we all have one more chance to land one before the holiday season: Urban Outfitters, for some reason, has a batch coming in, and they're going on Tuesday morning on its website.

No word yet on the exact time, but i4u.com is providing some rather amusing updates about it all in the meantime:

The Urban Outfitters online store has not yet released the NES Classic Edition. Urban Outfitters stated in the latest comment we spotted that the NES goes on sale in the morning. There is no exact time. It is now after 8am ET. Urban Outfitters is a hipster store, they like to sleep in.

UPDATE: Gone.
