West Allis Hale High School will join the growing number of area buildings to establihs athletics Halls of Fame, an initiative announced by the Hale Athletic Booster Club to "honor the past, inspire the present and help build a bright future in the Hale Athletic Department."
The Hall of Fame will be open to former student-athletes, coaches, teams and other individuals or entities who made a significant positive impact. Nominations are open to anyone but must be received by Oct. 1.
Nominations can be made to athletics director Elliott Kramsky, and more info can be found at the Hale website. A five-person committee will then judge the nominees: a chairman appointed by the booster club, the school principal, school athletics director, a current Hale coach and a former Hale coach. A majority vote would be needed to approve an inductee.
Induction would occur during the basketball season subsequent to the vote of the committee.
