Greenfield cross-country runner Tashjanae Holmes, after becoming the first female in Greenfield High School's history to qualify for the state meet, placed 100th out of 189 athletes at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.

"The running course was challenging, but Tashjanae's tenacity got her through the race with a time of 20:17," coach Leslie Cimermancic said.

Meghan Scott of Divine Savior Holy Angels won the meet with a time of 18 minutes, 10.46 seconds. Zoe Goodmanson of Pewaukee led all Woodland Conference runners with a 28th-place finish of 19:25.63.
