WEST ALLIS — Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in Milwaukee who is suspected of firing shots from a vehicle outside The Shooters Shop, 2465 S. 84th St., West Allis, about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Several people were in the vehicle, which sped off after the shots were fired, said Deputy Police Chief Robert Fletcher.

It does not appear that anyone was injured by the gunfire, he said.

Shooters employees provided a description of the vehicle and which way it went, he said.

Police stopped the suspect vehicle in the 1600 block of South 84th Street. Following police instructions, the woman driver got out, but then a man got behind the wheel and drove off, Fletcher said.

West Allis police chased the vehicle until terminating the pursuit near 35th and Center streets.

Continuing to investigate, police arrested the 25-year-old suspect at a residence in Milwaukee.

West Allis police received assistance from Milwaukee and West Milwaukee police departments.
