WEST ALLIS — Two Milwaukee residents accused of helping an 18-year-old West Allis woman buy heroin that reportedly killed her are each charged with first-degree reckless homicide.

Emma Lorenz died Nov. 27 of a drug overdose, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiners Office.

Charged in connection with her death are Kendall Marinier, 18, of 549 S. Oak Park, and Keslear Davis, 20, of 8131 W. Nash St.

According to the criminal complaint, Marinier admitted to police that she helped Lorenz buy heroin. They contacted Davis who went with them to a drug dealer he knew at 57th Street and Fairmount Avenue in Milwaukee, the complaint says.

The two women then each contributed $20 to buy the heroin, according to the complaint. The women used the heroin at Marinier's home. Lorenz was pronounced dead at the home.
