West Allis officials want public input on the strategic plan the city is developing to guide the city's growth and development.
The plan's proposed recommendations are based on input from aldermen, city staff, residents, visitors and businesses.
Officials want input to help them refine the vision and goals in the draft 2017-2022 strategic plan. Priorities set in the plan will be crucial if aldermen and the mayor have to make budget-cutting decisions.
Two open houses will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, both at the West Allis City Hall, 7525 W. Greenfield Ave. The first will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Presentations will be given and then participants will be able to give feedback in small break-out sessions. Light refreshments will be served.
Those unable to attend can submit their ideas online at westalliswi.gov/strategicplan.
