Helping hands are needed on Saturday, Oct. 8, when the West Allis Police Department hosts its annual citywide clean-up. 
Volunteers are asked to meet at the West Allis Police Department substation, 6900 W. National Ave., at 9 a.m. for sign in, supply pick up, and location assignments. 
Volunteers under age 18 must be with an adult. All volunteers must also have a signed waiver to participate. 
The clean-up will conclude at about 11:30 a.m. when the volunteers will be treated to Papa John’s Pizza and soft drinks. More information is available from the community services unit at 414- 302-8050.
