Man dies after motorcycle crash on Lincoln Memorial Drive

A man died early Wednesday after the motorcycle he was riding crashed in the 1000 block of N. Lincoln Memorial Drove, Milwaukee Police said.

The crash took place about 2 a.m. and involved a 30-year-old Milwaukee man who was driving south on Lincoln Memorial when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck the median, police said in a news release.

The man suffered several serious injuries and died despite efforts by paramedics from the Milwaukee Fire Department, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
