Mike Ilitch funeral: Private service, public tribute to follow
Funeral services will be private for pizza mogul and sports magnate Mike Ilitch, 87, who died Friday.
A public memorial service is being planned and details will be announced as soon as they are finalized, the Ilitch companies said in a statement.
Ilitch owned Little Caesars Pizza, the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings, among a host of other ventures.
