CITY OF GREENFIELD - A school bus was involved in a crash with two other vehicles at 43rd Street and Howard Avenue here at about 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6. None of the 22 Burlington High School students aboard the bus on a field trip was hurt, according to Greenfield police. One of the drivers was taken to a local hospital, however.

The students were from outside greater metropolitan area. A replacement school bus was summoned to take them back to school, the field trip having to be scrubbed.

The school bus was headed north on 43rd Street while one of the cars was headed south. An eastbound car on Howard Avenue hit the southbound car, bounced off and then hit the rear of the bus, police said.
