GREENFIELD - Authorities have released the name of the 39-year-old Milwaukee man who died when his car went out of control and hit a traffic signal at 27th Street and Layton Avenue about 5:40 p.m. Jan. 23.
He is Andrew Gruny, whose identity was withheld pending notification of his family. He had been pinned in one of the vehicles. Greenfield firefighters extricated him and began life saving efforts. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are investigating whether a medical condition might have triggered the accident.
Wisconsin State Patrol was asked to help with the investigation and with reconstructing the accident scene.
