Greenfield — The Greenfield, Hales Corners, Franklin and Greendale police departments are teaming up to educate children and families about the dangers of heroin.
In partnership with the Greendale, Greenfield and Whitnall school districts, area officials will give an anti-heroin summit titled "Heroin: Not Just Our Neighbors' Problem" on Monday, Feb. 15.
Guest speakers will include Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt, WISN News Anchor Dan O'Donnell, Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Patricia Daugherty and Patti Lomas, a mother of an overdose victim.
The presentation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. at the Whitnall High School auditorium, 5000 S. 116th Street in Greenfield. A resource fair will be held before the event from 5 to 6 p.m.
