A woman was attacked by a group of females in the parking lot at Red Lobster, 4645 S. 76th St., at about 7:25 p.m. April 23. The attackers fled the lot in a black Honda Civic after one of the females stunned the woman with a Taser at least six times and stole her keys and her wallet. The attacker was identified, and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
A stove was reported stolen out of a backyard in the 3800 block of South 39th Street at 8 p.m. April 19.
A pair of glasses and change were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 7400 block of West Barnard Avenue between 4:30 and 10:15 p.m. April 20.
Two unlocked vehicles were rummaged through in the 4500 block of West Upham Avenue between 4 p.m. April 20 and 5 a.m. April 21. Several items, including a GPS unit and textbook, were reported missing but were later found.
A wallet was stolen out of one vehicle and another vehicle was rummaged through in the 3900 block of West Grange Avenue between 9 p.m. April 20 and 9:05 a.m. April 21. The vehicles were reportedly locked and alarmed, but no alarm sounded and the vehicles weren’t damaged, according to police.
Two car batteries were shoplifted from NAPA Auto Parts, 4600 S. 108th St. The suspects, two men, fled north on Highway 100 in a black Volvo S90 with no license plates at 1:10 p.m. April 21.
A 1998 Toyota Corolla was stolen out of the lot at the Masjid Al-Huda Mosque, 5075 S. 43rd St., at about 6:30 a.m. April 22. Police are reviewing surveillance footage.
A spare vehicle key was stolen out of an unlocked Honda CRV in the 2900 block of West Grange Avenue between 10 p.m. April 22 and 10:30 a.m. April 23.
Police received a report that 180 oxycodone pills were stolen from a residence in the 5200 block of Woodbridge Lane at 2:45 p.m. April 23. The resident told police he was waiting for a “lady friend” to come over and join him in the shower when the theft occurred, but later admitted a hooker he knew only as “Brittany” stole the pills. He told police he paid $100 for Brittany’s services the day before, and she offered to come back the next day and join him in the shower. After the resident got into the shower the woman came into his home, stole his pills and left.
A man was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct in the 4200 block of South Ravina Drive for allegedly hitting his wife and stepdaughter and stealing his wife’s cat at about 9:45 a.m. April 17.
Police pursued a vehicle that refused to pull over for a traffic stop on South 74th Street and West Squire Avenue at 11:25 p.m. April 20. The vehicle was eventually stopped in the freeway, where the male driver was taken into custody and transported to jail. He is facing charges of eluding, driving with a revoked license, possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
A man was taken into custody for OWI after his vehicle crashed into another vehicle at the intersection at West Loomis Road and West Layton Avenue at about 10:20 a.m. April 17. No major injuries were reported.
A woman was taken into custody for second offense OWI in the 8600 block of westbound I-894 at 3:25 a.m. April 22. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.17.
Police received a report that a urinal was reportedly ripped off the men’s room wall at Applebee’s, 5100 S. 76th St., causing a flood and other damage at 7:10 p.m. April 20.
A Toyota Camry with no license plates was pursued by police after it refused to pull over for a traffic stop in the 4600 block of Forest Home Avenue at 6:25 p.m. April 17. The vehicle crashed on 48th and Oklahoma in Milwaukee where one man, the passenger, was taken into custody for obstructing. The driver was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Police pursued a speeding white Chevy Impala after the driver failed to pull over for a traffic stop on South 48th Street and West Euclid Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. April 18. Police chased the Impala through alleys and streets until it crashed into a Toyota Rav4, causing the Toyota to rollover on South 47th Street and West Oklahoma Avenue in Milwaukee. One person ran from the vehicle and was found in the backyard of a home in the 2800 block of South 51st Street. Police took the driver into custody for recklessly endangering safety, eluding, carrying a concealed weapon and a probation violation and transported him to jail. Two male passengers, a 15-year-old and 16-year-old, were questioned and released.
An intoxicated man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct for causing a loud disturbance by yelling and pounding on the door of a residence in the 4400 block of South Greenridge Circle at 2:10 a.m. April 23. He was also cited for prowling.
Police received a report that a boy allegedly threatened to kill a girl at Whitnall Middle School, 5025 S. 116th St., and also threatened to shoot up the school at 8:10 p.m. April 23. Police went to the boy’s residence where he was taken into custody for terrorist threats/disorderly conduct.
