Burglary

Police responded to a burglar alarm at T-Mobile, 4848 S. 76th St., and found someone had broken into the building by breaking a window at about 10:20 p.m. April 2. Surveillance footage showed two suspects entered the building, but did not steal anything because they couldn’t get into the sales floor area.

Theft

Catalytic converters were reported stolen off two rental trucks at U-Haul, 4305 S. 108th St., at 9:55 a.m. March 27.

A yellow Volvo L90 front end loader with a quick release bucket was stolen out of the parking lot at Walmart, 10600 W. Layton Ave., between 6 p.m. March 14 and 4 p.m. March 21.

A female employee was taken into custody for allegedly stealing over $4,000 in cash from McDonald’s, 5040 S. 76th St., over the course of two months at 4:20 p.m. March 27. She was booked and taken to jail.

A Dodge Caravan was reported stolen in the 4400 block of South 38th Street at 8:35 a.m. March 29. The abandoned van was found parked in the 5400 block of South Willowbrook Lane at about 11:40 p.m. April 1.

A white male wearing a brown Carhartt style jacket shoplifted multiple bottles of body wash by concealing them in a messenger bag at Walgreens, 4296 S. 76th St., and then fled as a passenger in an older model, four-door vehicle at 2:45 a.m. April 1.

A customer’s purse and keys were reported stolen at Aldi, 4225 S. 108th St., at 2:10 p.m. April 1.

Assault

A man was taken into custody for disorderly conduct for hitting another male patron in the face at Club Paragon, 3578 S. 108th St., at 11:55 p.m. March 28. The man who was struck was trying to break up a fight.

Drug possession

A man who passed out from a drug overdose while riding on a Milwaukee County Bus in the 7100 block of West Edgerton Avenue was taken into custody for possession of a schedule 4 narcotic (Xanax/alprazolam) at 2:30 p.m. March 29.

Vandalism

Police received a report that a 2015 Chevy Cruze was scratched while parked in the 4900 block of South Heritage Drive at 10:05 p.m. March 31.

Graffiti was reported on the back of the building and the fence behind the Clark Gas Station, 4621 W. Forest Home Ave., at 9:35 p.m. April 1.

Graffiti was reported on the fence behind Burger King in the 4500 block of West Midland Drive at 11:30 a.m. April 2.

Other

An elderly man who fell in the parking lot at Meyer’s Restaurant, 4260 S. 76th St., was taken into custody after he allegedly showed a handgun to someone who was helping him get back into his vehicle at about 5:15 p.m. March 28. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, and is facing a possible charge of being armed while intoxicated.

A man who was standing in traffic and yelling at vehicles on South 108th Street and West Cold Spring Road was taken into custody and cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing traffic at 7:30 a.m. March 29.

Six students were cited for disorderly conduct for fighting in the cafeteria at Greenfield High School, 4800 S. 60th St., at about 7:25 a.m. March 31.

A male was taken into custody and cited for prowling after he was seen looking into cars parked on the roadway in the 5200 block of Somerset Lane at 6:10 p.m. April 1.
