Burglary

A bicycle was taken from the garage of a residence in the 2100 block of South 110th Street before 1:45 a.m. March 16.

$7,000 worth of jewelry was taken from a residence in the 1900 block of South 59th Street between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. March 17.

Theft

A 39-year-old man was cited for retail theft at Kmart, 6900 W. Greenfield Ave., at 1:30 p.m. March. 13.

A bicycle was taken from a storage unit of an apartment complex in the 7900 block of West Becher Street at 9:20 a.m. March 14.

Vacuum equipment was taken from a work van parked in the 2100 block of South 78th Street between 1 p.m. Mar. 13 and noon March 14.

A 22-year-old man was cited for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., at 2:15 p.m. March 15.

Two 17-year-old boys were cited for retail theft at Kohls, 2601 S. 108th St., at 2:53 p.m. Mar. 15.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 2625 S. 108th St., at 2:3 p.m. March 16.

The rear license plate was taken from a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of South 59th Street before 7 p.m. March 16.

A 2009 Toyota Corolla was taken from a residence in the 6400 block of West Arthur Avenue at 6:15 a.m. March 17.

The wheels and tires were taken from a 2015 Toyota Scion parked in the 2200 block of South 65th Street before 10 a.m. March 18.

A 46-year-old woman was arrested for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 6760 W. National Ave., at 8:15 p.m. March 19.

Drugs

A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of THC in the 1000 block of South 56th Street at 12:15 a.m. March 14.

A 17-year-old boy was booked and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of South 60th Street at 2:30 a.m. March 14.

A 21-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman were both arrested for possession of THC following a traffic stop on 70th and Burnham streets at 12:10 a.m. March 17.

A 25-year-old man was arrested for operating with a restricted controlled substance following a traffic stop on 60th and Burnham streets at 12:50 a.m. March 18.
