Police responded to an armed robbery at Speedway, 3390 W. Loomis Road, at 6:35 p.m. Nov. 21. The suspects, described as a five-foot, four-inch-tall black woman wearing a black ski mask and a skinny, five-foot, 11-inch-tall man wearing a Ninja Turtle mask, displayed a semiautomatic handgun and demanded money. The two got away with just under $100. The K9 unit tracked the suspects to the 3300 block of West Loomis Road, but they were not found.
Police went to Frontier Motors, 5141 S. 27th St., after a report that the business had been burglarized at 10:20 a.m. Nov 24. Officers found a glass door was broken, several vehicles had been entered and two chainsaws were missing. The burglary is under investigation.
About $600 was reported stolen out of a room at the Golden Key Motel, 3600 S. 108th St., at 12:40 a.m. Nov. 21.
An iPhone was reported stolen at Burger King, 4555 W. Forest Home Ave., at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 23. The victim told police the phone was stolen off a table during a craigslist transaction.
A catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle at Pick ’n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., between 12:30 and 1:10 p.m. Nov. 25.
Cash ($200) was reported stolen out of a woman’s wallet at Walmart, 10600 W. Layton Ave., at about 8 p.m. Nov. 25. The victim told police she accidentally left her purse in her shopping cart, and when she came back to retrieve it the money was missing from her wallet.
A knitted black purse was stolen out of a vehicle at George Webb, 4845 W. Forest Home Ave., at about 9:15 p.m. Nov. 27. The suspect, described as a younger Hispanic male, walked up and asked the victim for a cigarette while she was smoking inside her vehicle. He then grabbed her purse and was last seen running west on Forest Home Avenue.
A man was taken into custody for domestic violence for allegedly punching his wife during an argument at Graingers, 3400 W. Loomis Road, at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 25.
A woman was taken into custody for third offense OWI after her vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle in the 3000 block of West Ramsey Avenue at 1:20 a.m. Nov. 23.
Police received a report that a driver ran away from his vehicle after it flipped over in the median in the 4100 block of South 76th Street at about 11:40 p.m. Nov. 23. The driver, who was identified through the vehicle registration, was later taken into custody at his residence for OWI. He was also cited for failure to control a vehicle, driving without a license and failure to notify police of an accident. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.23.
A man was taken into custody for OWI after his Dodge Ram was seen swerving out of its lane and almost struck the median and a sign in the 4500 block of South 60th Street at 8:25 p.m. Nov. 24. The driver was also cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Emergency personnel responded to a fiery crash on South 76th Street and West Layton Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. Nov. 23. A vehicle that ran a red light in Hales Corners and was being pursued by police crashed into another vehicle on South 76th Street. The driver of the fleeing/striking vehicle was taken to Froedtert Hospital for treatment, and was later taken into custody by Hales Corners police. The two occupants in the vehicle that was struck were not seriously injured.
A man who was seen concealing merchandise at Dollar Tree, 6261 S. 27th St., started throwing the items and threatened to beat up employees after being confronted by the manager at about 10:15 a.m. Nov. 21. The man left the store before police arrived and was not found.
A woman was taken into custody after she was seen urinating at a bus stop on South 76th Street and West Edgerton Avenue at 5:50 p.m. Nov. 23. She was cited for disorderly conduct and released.
A man was taken into custody and cited for disorderly conduct for walking around the parking lot and shouting threats at customers at Speedway, 6000 W. Layton Ave., at 1:05 a.m. Nov. 25.
Officers responding to a report that a large group of people were physically fighting inside Romine’s, 6125 S. 27th St., took a woman and a man into custody at 1:45 a.m. Nov. 27. The man was cited for possession of marijuana. The woman was cited for obstructing.
