WEST ALLIS - Police are asking the public to help identify the man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank, 6130 W. National Ave., West Allis, about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 9.

Police said the robber gave the teller a handwritten note demanding money. He also took out a pistol and threatened to shoot the teller if she didn't give him money, police said.

The man fled on foot. He is described as about 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall.
