Has 1970s child star Erin Moran taken up residence in Southern Indiana?

According to various reports from tabloids and celebrity-watching websites, Moran, best known for her role as Joanie Cunningham on ABC's "Happy Days," has recently been living in a Holiday Inn Express in Corydon, about 130 miles south of Indianapolis, apparently after falling into financial difficulty.

Aside from a minor movie stint and an appearance on a reality show a few years ago, Moran has been fairly inactive in the entertainment business. In 2011, along with three "Happy Days" co-stars, Moran received a settlement in a $10 million breach-of-contract lawsuit.

While Moran's current living arrangements remain unconfirmed, a reporter at The Corydon Democrat newspaper said the actress has, in fact, been living in Corydon. Alan Stewart said the former child star had been seen at Beef 'O' Brady's Family Sports Restaurants and Pubs, and recently posed for a photograph with one of his friends.

As a child, Moran made guest appearances on shows including "My Three Sons" and "Family Affair." Her biggest break came with the debut of "Happy Days" in 1974. She made several television appearances years later, and played a supporting role in "Not Another B Movie" in 2010.
